Preparation of VAT Returns, regardless whether we prepare your VAT Return or not, if you are a client, we will remind you well in advance of the deadline for VAT filing, so you can relax and concentrate on managing your business.
We can also monitor your income to ensure you do not inadvertently exceed the registration threshold if you are not currently VAT registered.
Making Tax Digital, for filing your VAT Returns, will come into force from the 1 April 2019. You will need to acquire the relevant filing software to ensure that you can file your VAT Return at HMRC, this will be for any VAT period ending on or after the 1 April 2019.

Tax Office Investigations; Disputes with HMRC following an enquiry or a penalty being levied
If you have a dispute with HMRC, albeit in connection with an enquiry or a penalty being levied, we will evaluate your particular case and if we feel there is justification for doing so, and if necessary, we will take your case through the appeals process, even representing you at an HMRC Tribunal. We have had some significant success over the years in connection with fighting HMRC with regards to penalties and also in obtaining tax reliefs for our clients which HMRC felt were not due.
Checking Tax Codes and Resolution of Incorrect Coding Notices
This is a regular problem where HMRC do not correctly process documentation in their possession and this often results in the incorrect issue of a tax code notice. This means that throughout the year you may have paid the wrong amount of tax and could receive a nasty surprise at the end. We can keep an eye on your tax coding notices to make sure this does not happen to you.
