What is an expert witness?

An expert witness is a person, who by reason of their qualifications or experience is accepted as an expert in their field. They can assist in disputes, both legal and criminal, by assessing the evidence and writing their independent report on the facts which can help to establish the position to enable the court, or the parties to reach a conclusion or a settlement.

I am a member of the Expert Witness Institute. You can either find me on the EWI website and follow the link through the Find an Expert page, or you can contact me directly. Please note I will only take instructions from either the Solicitor or Barrister. I do not take instructions directly from claimants or defendants.
